Building off of what I learned from the Curve Vessel, I decided to push the process a little further. This oil lamp aims to be a modernized and abstracted "ofrenda."
I modeled the oil lamp in Rhino and then built the mold for it. I 3D printed three parts and used those master molds to produce plaster molds. From there, I slip-casted each part and assembled them together. Lastly, I smithed and soldered the brass plate that goes over the fired ceramic.
